미국 와인 잡지사 와인 엔수지애스트(Wine Enthusiast)가 '2018 와인 스타상' 수상자를 발표했다. 

19년 전부터 미국 와인의 발전에 공헌한 개인 또는 기업에게 주어지던 이 행사는 규모가 확대되어 세계의 와인 스타나 와인계에 영향을 준 사람에게도 주어지고 있다. 

와인 엔수지애스트 에디터 아담 스트럼(Adam Strum)은 "올해의 와인 스타상 수상자는 미국 와인 업계의 변화를 주도하고 비전을 이끌어낸 이들로 선정했다"며 "지난 19년간 와인 엔수지애스트는 와인 업계의 발전을 위해 이 수상식을 진행했다. 노부 에덴 록 호텔(Nobu Eden Roc Hotel)에서 16명의 인물에게 와인 스타 트로피를 선물하는 것은 영광"이라며 시상 소감을 전했다.
